John Biscevic - Founder and CEO

John grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area where he still lives today. Following his 10 year service in the U.S. Army, John began a career of running several successful businesses in addition to holding senior technical and management positions in IT and Security at corporate giants like Bank of America, Chiron Corporation and most recently Chevron. The name, Skaboosh, came to John while watching an animated movie about a Kung Fu Panda. And just like that he was building another successful business.

John’s hobbies include world travel, snowboarding, rock climbing, cycling, scuba diving, photography, white water rafting, hiking, skydiving, camping, synchronized swimming with his pet Yorkies and extreme cross-stitch. Later this year, John looks forward to the opportunity to open up the Skaboosh markets in Vietnam and beyond.

Patrick Nelson - V.P/Technology and Engineering

Patrick has lived throughout California in Sacramento, Chico and the San Francisco Bay Area but currently manages Skaboosh development from deep in the jungle of Houston, TX. He has a Bachelor's degree in computer science from Chico State and an MBA from University of California Davis. Patrick has worked on a custom web application projects for Chevron for the last five years. After two years of brainstorming the possibilities of a site called Skaboosh with John, he is thrilled to see it become a reality.

Some of Patrick’s favorite recreational activities include snow skiing, camping, hiking, water skiing, rafting and off-road etch-a-sketching . These days though, he is pretty much up for anything that will get him away from his computer.

Eric Ryan - V.P./Brand Creative Director

Eric grew up in South Caroline but his early wanderlust eventually took him to the Northeast and beyond. He has resided in Connecticut, New York City, Taiwan and eventually moved to Madison – Wisconsin that is. Still not quite at home he decided to hop on his bicycle and head west until he made it to San Francisco. It is there that he settled in and earned his BFA from the San Francisco Art Institute. Eric worked in commercial photography for several years before moving into the advertising and design world. He has been an art director/designer for the last 12 years (gulp!) while paying dues in agencies large and small such as Saachi and Saachi, McCann Erickson, Traction Co, and CBS Interactive. During one of those moments between jobs, Eric was chatting with his buddy John when he mentioned Skaboosh.com and the vision appeared to Eric like a leprechaun at the end of a rainbow. Unable to ignore his interest, he jumped at the chance to join the team.

Eric is an image junkie so he loves anything visual from museums and galleries to movies and web animations to kaleidoscopes and stained glass windows! He has been spotted hiking the Himalayas and cycling his way through Europe. Eric’s bucket list includes biking across a desert and swimming the escape route from Alcatraz while befriending all of the Pacific coast sharks along the way.
